Decleor Paris Serums and Moisturizers
A product line that I started using earlier this year has really taken me by surprise. The name of the company is Decleor Paris. I have now used a number of their products over the past six months and am very happy to share my experience.
AROMESSENCE serums consist of a mix of essential oil formulas that are made for different skin types. Typically, the serums are used underneath a moisturizer, but when I am not wearing makeup, I’ve found that they are terrific used alone as well.
Having studied nutrition, I’m not a stranger to the benefits from oils and extracts of flowers and herbs, but in the past I’ve never had more than an OK kind of feeling about using them by themselves for skin care. With that said, I didn’t expect to be as impressed as I am with these products.
To date, I’ve used the Iris Aromessence and the Ylang Ylang Aromessence formulas and have felt and seen improved skin tone, firmer skin (you would not have convinced me such a thing could happen) and the aromatherapy benefits are remarkable. The Iris formula is for mature skin and the Ylang Ylang is for oily/combination skin. I love to apply either one of these when I’m not going out anywhere, and have no makeup on. I use a drop about the size of a dime and massage it in thoroughly. When I am going out, I use less – about 1/2 a dime size or so- and massage in the serum before applying moisturizer and makeup.
HARMONIE ESSENTIELLE is an ultra-soothing moisturizer that has just the right amount of weight to the cream. My skin tends to be more combination than dry, and this cream has a nice balance of oils and plant extracts that is good for both my drier and more oily face areas. My skin feels smooth and relaxed after I apply this product.
HYDROTENSEUR eye contour firming serum gives the delicate area around the eye the benefits of plant extracts that do not irritate or burn. One measured pump of this product is enough to use for both eyes. I use the HARMONIE ESSENTIELLE cream together with this serum for the eye area as well as my face. Together the two give my skin a soft, smooth feel and look.
IRIS AROMATIC BALM is a thick version of the serum, with the same ingredients in a balm form. This product is definitely for nighttime use, and initially has a heavier feel to it. My skin does absorb it in, and the next day I’m happy I used it. Used on top of the serum, I found this to be a super-hydrating overnight treatment that I use two to three times per week. This is one of those products that could be the answer for anyone who has severely dry skin or who lives in a very cold, dry climate.
AROMESSENCE ONGLES contains 100% natural and essential oils and is a superb cuticle and nail treatment. Applied twice daily, this oil gives my nails a healthy finish to them, and I have found that the dry ridges do go away with continued use. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to grow natural nails. I would estimate that you’ll need to use the first bottle entirely before you begin to see a big difference, but if you use it morning and night faithfully, the good will come!
Prices vary on these products from one seller to the next, and overall I’d say the prices are typical of any high-end department store cosmetics. Expect to pay anywhere from $36 to $200 depending on the item. Sometimes there are promotions so you may pay a bit less.

I think that Decleor is the best on the planet. I use the Ylang Ylang formulas and really love them. I have had problems with acne and the serum does not conflict with the doctor prescribed cleanser and treatment cream. Eventually, I won’t need the dermatologist anymore, but I’ll always use Decleor.

I love their products too. It’s interesting that you can use their serum even though you also use prescription items. It’s a good indication that the ingredients are very high quality.
